Castle Country
Native American petroglyphs and Indian writing at Nine Mile Canyon are only a part of the many attractions in the Price area. Price sits at the top of the San Rafael Swell, which is home to vast deserts, yawning canyons, and fascinating rock formations. Goblin Valley State Park and the Cleveland Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry are nearby destinations popular for nature enthusiasts, off-road riders, and rock hounding.
Cedar City
William Shakespeare would find himself at home in Cedar City, Utah, home of Utah's extravagant Shakespearean Festival. Each summer, visitors come from all corners to participate in this spectacular event, and to tour scenic Cedar Break National Monument. Other folks come to experience excellent Utah mountain biking at Brian Head Resort's fat tire festival. In the winter, Brian Head transforms into one of Utah's great ski resorts, with excellent powder and runs.
Central
The Central Utah region is a goldmine of Utah heritage and outdoor recreation, including touring historic bed and breakfasts, driving the Highway 89 loop (dubbed the Heritage Highway), and exploring the popular Paiute ATV Trail. It is also home to Elk Meadows Ski & Summer Resort, and a variety of state parks and public lands for family recreation. It also offers the most accessible routes between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas via I-15 or Highway 89.
