The Catskills region, known for its waterfalls, mountains, lush forests, and streams, is a picturesque natural wonderland.
If you enjoy fishing, you will love visiting the famous Catskill Fly Fishing Center and nearby rivers in Livingston Manor. Bethel, the site of the original 1969 Woodstock Music and Arts Festival, now hosts a variety of musical events each summer. If you are seeking the unusual, you will delight in the Kaatskill Kaleidoscope, the world's largest kaleidoscope, which looms above the horizon in Catskill Corners. The 60-foot tube, converted from a farm silo into a fascinating visual fantasy world, is a one-of-a-kind attraction.
While there, you can easily pass the day away at the Catskill Game Farm, Zoom Flume Water Park, or one of many European-style wineries. When you are worn out, enjoy the view from the Delaware & Ulster Rail Ride that will take you through the Catskill Mountains.
