Monument Valley
Over the years, Monument Valley has been home to more western movies than just about any other site in the United States. Unique sandstone formations, the Navajo Indian Nation, and the Four Corners Monument highlight the desert region. Come experience the Old West of Butch Cassidy and tour the country once known only to outlaws, struggling pioneers, and Native American people.
Ogden
Ogden, Utah, is a busy town north of Salt Lake City. Historically, Ogden was a major player in the development of the Transcontinental Railroad. Ogden's Golden Spike monument commemorates the beginning of the end of the American frontier: the connection of the Central Pacific and Union Pacific railroads. Today, Ogden’s visitors enjoy downhill skiing at Snowbasin (an Olympic venue) and at Powder Mountain.
Park City
Park City, Utah, is famous for three world-class ski and summer resorts: Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley, and The Canyons. Nearby hip restaurants and historic Main Street combine with excellent Park City lodging to create the perfect destination. Home to the Utah Olympic Park, Park City hosted several of the 2002 Games. Nearby Heber is also home to Olympic glory. Soldier Hollow, the cross-country ski and biathlon venue for the Olympics, remains open to visitors. Warm weather ushers in excellent golf in both cities.
